lyrics
Day by day, my patience’s wearing thin
I can feel myself changing from within
In my moment of clarity
I looked beyond the burning crest
Those who reap the benefits of conflict
Are the weak-kneed cowards who call to arms
Our minds are molded
We have been thrown below
Again and again
In the greatest disconnect
Seek truth and you will find lies
In this nation wide
Steady decline
I was forced into existence
So unbecoming
As they bleed us dry, I will rise
I am the faculty of reason
To lift the burden of our malevolent past
Herd instincts obscure our sight
My guilt is irrefutable
Yet I thrive with impunity
In my moment of clarity
I looked beyond the burning crest
Our minds are molded
We have been thrown below
Again and again
In the greatest disconnect
Seek truth, and you will find lies
In this nation wide
Steady decline

Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723

Nothing but pure relentless brutality and scorching technical prowess that crackles out of the speakers. It’s unflinchingly aggressive, like being in the center of a vortex of razors, whipping licks and arpeggios jagged and violent, ripping and slicing from all angles. j-kep
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022

I agree with Jordan that this has a The Red Chord vibe over it (although I don't think it is better), but with a twist to make it into a sound of their own. Rad stuff and highly recommend for anyone into metalcore with some death metal influences. dcdirkzwager
