lyrics
Weathering the crisp morning air
The scent of fear is always present
I’ve waited long enough
Devoid of emotion
A mercenary
Acting in the depths
Of a distorted realm
The arsonist of belief
A constant threat
Surroundings reek of fear
The hunter, stalking its prey
For when I stare into the abyss
Nothing looks back
Consumed by contempt
Swarming the hive minds
For when I stare into the abyss
Nothing looks back
Erase all of what was before
Neglecting the outcome
Constructed to follow
You obey
The greatest weakness
Of the human mind
So frail and faint-hearted
From the very beginning
Nurtured to submission
Without free will
The hunter
Becoming prey
Disintegrating
Fading into the black
For when I stare into the abyss
Nothing looks back
Consumed by contempt
Swarming the hive minds
For when I stare into the abyss
Nothing looks back
Erase all of what was before
Neglecting the outcome
When I stare into the black
Disintegrating
The hunter
Becoming prey
Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723
Nothing but pure relentless brutality and scorching technical prowess that crackles out of the speakers. It’s unflinchingly aggressive, like being in the center of a vortex of razors, whipping licks and arpeggios jagged and violent, ripping and slicing from all angles. j-kep
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022
I agree with Jordan that this has a The Red Chord vibe over it (although I don't think it is better), but with a twist to make it into a sound of their own. Rad stuff and highly recommend for anyone into metalcore with some death metal influences. dcdirkzwager
