lyrics
Predictably compliant
Obedient words from the teller of lies
A utopian belief of wrongs
Empires become failed states
Plummeting into submission
Left are the fragments
From the greatest of kingdoms
Known to man
This is what the pacifist desire
Weakness made into artificial strength
Heroes of imperfection
Only a warped mind could believe
The ideology stronghold, so vital
You embrace the oppression
For the illusion of safety
Sleeping habitants have resigned their rights
They seek refuge in the safety of herds
Plummeting into submission
Left are the fragments
From the greatest of kingdoms
Known to man

Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723

Nothing but pure relentless brutality and scorching technical prowess that crackles out of the speakers. It’s unflinchingly aggressive, like being in the center of a vortex of razors, whipping licks and arpeggios jagged and violent, ripping and slicing from all angles. j-kep
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022

I agree with Jordan that this has a The Red Chord vibe over it (although I don't think it is better), but with a twist to make it into a sound of their own. Rad stuff and highly recommend for anyone into metalcore with some death metal influences. dcdirkzwager
