When the pendulum swings
It sweeps like daggers
Vengeful, we lie in wait
Hold back, the direction is clear
Let their arrogance be their last train of thought
Calm, we wait to pass judgement upon thee
With unfathomable force
Their last days are imminent
When the pendulum swings
It sweeps all in its way
Former strongholds, reduced to nothing
When the common man turns his way
The pendulum swings
Iris wide open
Pitch black
Fuming mouths
Throats open like graves
Abstract nightmares
Come to life
Inferior beings
Disposed
Balance reinstated
At the highest of costs
It sweeps like daggers
Feeding bloodlusting mouths
The hunger stays
Not quenching the thirst
When the common man turns his way
Throats open the red stream

Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723

Nothing but pure relentless brutality and scorching technical prowess that crackles out of the speakers. It’s unflinchingly aggressive, like being in the center of a vortex of razors, whipping licks and arpeggios jagged and violent, ripping and slicing from all angles. j-kep
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022

I agree with Jordan that this has a The Red Chord vibe over it (although I don't think it is better), but with a twist to make it into a sound of their own. Rad stuff and highly recommend for anyone into metalcore with some death metal influences. dcdirkzwager
